Why Jane the Virgin is Brilliant

The spunky telenovela has a lot more to say than it lets on.

Although the show ended in Spring of 2019, Jane the Virgin still has a loyal fan base and remains one of my favorite shows of all time.

It’s witty, modern, dramatic, and always entertaining. I would highly recommend giving it a watch.

However, while I’m still in mourning that the show has ended, I’ve decided to make a top-ten list of all the reasons this show is excellent, and why I think you should watch.

10. Women in Hollywood

Jane was adapted by the amazing Jennie Snyder Urman, whose previous credits include (but are not limited to!) Gilmore Girls and 90210.

At its core, this show is about strong women, and the incredible women that created, directed, and starred in this show absolutely deserve your attention!
